Holy Trinity Speaker Series

 You are invited to join us for the November session of the Speaker Series on Saturday, November 13 in the Upper Hall at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Old Stratcona. This talk will be brought to us by Rev. Robin Walker, entitled "How do I choose a version of the Bible – and does it matter?”

From Rev. Robin: I have been an Honorary Assistant Priest at Holy Trinity since 2014. Before retiring from stipendiary ministry in 2013, I served parishes in Barrhead, Parkland County, and Brandon MB, the last as the Dean of the Diocese of Brandon. As a preacher and the owner of a proverbial stack of Bibles, I am very aware that it pays to read Scripture carefully and with intention. I sing in the parish choir, and from that seat I try my best to pay attention to what the various preachers have to say.
