Heart Garden Event

This event has already occurred

You are invited by the Reconciliation Team of Immanuel, Wetaskiwin to join them for the 4th annual Heart Garden event. We will be hearing a children's book about Indian Residential Schools, decorating tiles to make a memorial for the inside of the church and planting our Heart Garden in the four colours of the Medicine Wheel. This is a family friendly event. Please let Fiona at f.brownlee@edmonton.anglican.ca know if you will be able to make it.

What We Do

Indigenous Ministries

In the spirit of peaceful dialogue, understanding, reconciliation, and healing, we walk alongside our Indigenous and Métis relations on the Treaty 6 and Treaty 8 Territories, the traditional meeting ground of Cree, Saulteaux, Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Nakota Sioux, Dene, Métis, and Inuit peoples.
