Learning how to be still, to really be still and let life happen - that stillness becomes a radiance.  - Morgan Freeman
Once I knew only darkness and stillness... my life was without past or future... but a little word from the fingers of another fell into my hand that clutched at emptiness, and my heart leaped to the rapture of living.  - Helen Keller

At first blush, the statements above appear to have contradictory understandings of the relationship between stillness and life. Or, maybe both are true.
You are invited to imaginatively dwell at this intersection of stillness and life through a curated creative meditation experience. My heart is eager to learn. Perhaps yours is too.

Windswept Meditations events are places of spiritual exploration in a mutually supportive environment. Adherence to a religious tradition is not required to attend and participate. The meditations are a project being developed by Doug Parth, Natalie Bryson and Jim Robertson. Pop-up events that blend meditation, contemplation and creativity are being grown organically. As the group matures and a community forms, regular participants will have the opportunity to help form the shape and culture of the gatherings.
