The Star of the North retreat centre in St. Albert offers programs throughout the year to deepen your walk of faith. 

Here are some of their offerings this fall:

Sept. 23-25 Jesus the Gardener retreat with Sr. Teresita Kambeitz. Reflecting on Mary Magdalene's encounter with the Risen Christ, the Gardener of a new Creation, we will consider the centrality of forgiveness in her transition from profound grief to her mission as apostle to the apostles.

Weekly, October 1-22 Mud, Monsters, & Myth: Unearthing Our Creation Stories with spiritual director and theologian Clint Porritt

Oct. 31-Nov. 2 Hearts of Flesh retreat led by retreat centre director and pastoral theologian Leah Perrault. Over and over again in the Scriptures, we are reminded to "harden not our hearts". And as we go out to love a beautiful and broken world, sometimes our edges get a bit rough, or life's suffering is just too much... Alongside the prophets, we will sink into the rest that the Spirit offers to weary souls. And we will leave with hope to carry out for ourselves and the world.
