Bishop Stephen London visited two parishes in the Edmonton diocese and a Roman Catholic parish this past weekend.

Bishop Stephen joined Jim Robertson and his Interface Worship team for “Epiphany: Revelation!” on Saturday, January 20, at St. Paul's, Edmonton. “These services are created by Jim Robertson who is a worship curator and liturgist who crafts ecumenical worship services, liturgies, devotional exercises, formational exercises, liturgical art installations and rituals. He has been doing this work for 20 years! ..."

On Sunday morning, Bishop Stephen presided and preached at Good Shepherd, Edmonton. “… This is a congregation that is proclaiming the love of God by word and deed in community outreach and engagement.” After the service, he led a town hall-style conversation. “…we had a time to talk about the vision of the Diocese and what it looks like to follow God in building toward a good future….”

To close out the weekend, Bishop Stephen attended the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity Service, organized by the Edmonton and District Council of Churches (EDCC), and hosted by St Joachim Catholic Church. “There is no service like it where we gather together as Christians across denominational lines and pray for unity…”
