We received great news from the Rev. Dominique Ciza, Buyé diocesan secretary, about the joyous opening of the water spring which will provide Kiziba village and surrounding area with a source of uncontaminated drinking water. The project was made possible by the offering collected during Bishop Jane's 10th anniversary celebration service and the hard work of local community members on construction.

"Greetings. It's with great joy to inform you that Kiziba water spring was officially opened this morning. The ceremonies were honoured with Bishop Sixbert and his wife Clotilde, and the local administrative leaders of Gitasi subcounty. Really it was wonderful, all appreciated the project and especially a very big hand clap was given to Edmonton diocese. Many of us tasted the water and even took some home. Bishop Sixbert ended the ceremonies by prayers and requesting the population to take care of this gift." - Rev. Dominique
