At St. Faith's, we have made significant changes to our PrayerWorks Meals service in order to best meet the needs of our community at this time.

These changes mean we need additional kitchen equipment and would be very grateful for the donation or loan of three electric table-top induction cook tops/hot plates we can use for cooking. As well, we are seeking the loan or donation of three electric food warmers to ensure food stays warm right up to the time we package and distribute meals.

We need this equipment because we have reconfigured preparation and distribution of meals to ensure social distancing for the health and wellbeing of all. We are setting up stations in the kitchen and hall to prepare and cook food before packaging meals in takeaway containers for distribution.

This past week was a first run and we are very grateful to our volunteers who stepped into this new flow of meal preparation and made it work.

As well, we have changed the days and times of PrayerWorks meals. Starting Wednesday, March 25, we will serve takeaway lunches on Wednesdays to Saturdays, with meals distributed at the doors from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.
