St. David's Contributes Generously to Buyé Clean Water Initiative

On the last Friday of November, St. David’s held our annual Silent Auction and Dinner. Before, during and after the meal, people bid on auction items – popular are gift baskets with consumables! Each year a different charity is chosen to receive half of the proceeds.  

This year, we chose to support a clean water project in Buyé diocese. The Rev. John Gee gave a compelling presentation about improvements to water management so that people could access uncontaminated water, thus reducing the incidence of water-borne illness. Inspired by the presentation, we raised $1,940 towards clean water projects in Buyé!
