Thousands Welcome New Deacons and Priests in Buyé Diocese

It was an “extremely happy” occasion on July 20 when Archbishop Sixbert Macumi ordained 10 deacons and 2 priests in St. John parish, Kinyami, Ngozi, Diocese of Buyé. More than 2,000 members of the Buyé archdeaconry, as well as all the Bishops from the Province of the Anglican Church of Burundi, attended the service which was followed by a meal.
