In his national role as Animator for Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations, the Rev. Canon Dr. Scott Sharman writes to ask Edmonton diocese's participation in a national survey:

Dear colleagues, friends, and leaders,

This week (Feb. 1-7) is United Nations World Interfaith Harmony Week – an annual occasion for people of different spiritual and faith communities to reflect on how seeking greater peace and understanding across the lines of religious difference can contribute to the common good of the human community and all creation.

In these days, as we are encouraged to turn our attention to the reasons why our faith might call us into the work of interfaith relations, the Faith, Worship, and Ministry Committee of the General Synod wants to hear from you about where you see the interfaith opportunities and challenges before our Anglican churches within the increasingly diverse spiritual landscape of Canada.

We would greatly appreciate 5 minutes of your time to participate in the following online survey about interfaith relations in your local diocesan and/or parish contexts. As you are able, please complete (or have someone else complete) the survey by February 20.

Thank you, and Peace be with you,
The Rev. Canon Dr. Scott Sharman
