The Planning Committee of A Common Word Alberta, an Annual Dialogue between Christians, Muslims and Indigenous teachers, invites all to come together in a spirit of learning and reconciliation to attend the Samson Cree Nation Indigenous Powwow in Maskwacis (formerly Hobbema).

On Saturday, August 10, this event will feature the Grand Entry, vibrant dances, delicious food from local food trucks, and the chance to engage with our community members. If you, your family, or friends are interested in joining us, please REGISTER so we can reserve a seat on the bus for you. Gather at Al Rashid parking lot 10:30 am. The journey will take one hour. We will stay until 4:30 pm, returning to Edmonton around 6:00 pm. Transportation cost is $10 cash per person. We look forward to seeing you!
